1. Who We Serve
DriveDesk is a software platform designed for chauffeur and airport transfer companies. The Service allows you to manage bookings, customer communication, driver schedules, and related business operations.
2. Account Registration & Responsibilities
- You must provide accurate and complete information during signup.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- You are responsible for all activity conducted under your account.
- You must be 18 years or older and legally authorized to represent the company you register.
3. Subscription & Payment
- Access to DriveDesk requires a paid monthly subscription, billed via Stripe.
- Subscription fees are billed in GBP and may be subject to VAT.
- You may cancel your subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period.
- We do not offer refunds for partial months or unused services unless required by law.
4. Acceptable Use
By using DriveDesk, you agree:
- Not to use the platform for unlawful or fraudulent purposes.
- Not to transmit spam or unsolicited communications using the email features.
- Not to upload viruses or malicious code.
- Not to reverse engineer, copy, resell, or exploit the platform or its services.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate this policy.
5. Data Ownership & Privacy
- You retain ownership of all data you input into DriveDesk, including customer and booking data.
- We store this data securely and do not access or share it unless required for support, technical operations, or legal compliance.
- You are responsible for the legality of the data you collect and send using the platform (e.g., customer consent, email compliance).
- Our Privacy Policy explains how data is collected, used, and protected.
6. Email Functionality (SMTP)
- You may configure your own SMTP settings to send branded emails through your business email address.
- DriveDesk is not responsible for delivery issues arising from misconfigured SMTP settings or third-party email providers.
7. Availability & Updates
- We aim for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
- We may update the platform at any time to improve performance, security, or functionality.
- Planned maintenance or critical updates may cause brief interruptions.
8. Termination
- You may terminate your account at any time through your dashboard or by contacting support.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, cause harm to the platform, or engage in fraudulent activity.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- DriveDesk is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
- Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 3 months prior to the claim.
10. Modifications to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are significant, we will notify you via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the platform after changes indicates acceptance.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the UK courts.
